Chic and functional design

The design is modern and minimalistic: The metal housing is smooth, slim and light – with an aluminum finish. When it comes to colors, the buyer can choose between Mystic Silver and Space Gray. Both the display and the keyboard are very narrow. At the 14 inch FullHD and FullView display (16: 9) it is only 4.8 millimeters. This results in a screen housing ratio of 84 percent – so streaming and gaming are fun. The display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixel (157 pixels per inch) and one 178 ° large viewing angle with strong contrasts and an IPS anti-reflection, which is why the MagicBook can also be used comfortably in the beer garden, in the park and on the terrace. The full-size keyboard has a backlight in QWERTZ layout.


Up to 10 hours of battery life

Nowadays, users don't want to make any compromises when it comes to batteries – the search for an outlet is too annoying. The battery of the MagicBook 14 promises 56 Whr (nominal value). That means up to 10 hours of office work, 9.5 hours of video playback or 9 , 4 hours of web browsing. Should the battery run down, contrary to expectations, the laptop does not have to be powered for long: thanks to fast charging, it only charges 30 minutes up to 48 percent. It takes less than 2.5 hours to fully charge. All of this makes the MagicBook an ideal solution for users who travel a lot.


Fingerprint sensor as an extra

The device naturally supports all common interfaces such as USB-C, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI and 3.5 mm jack as well as data transmission via Bluetooth 5.0. The “HONOR MagicLink 2.0” technology also enables seamless work and simple data transfer between the MagicBook and HONOR smartphones. The Eye Comfort mode has been certified by the TÜV.

There are also two very special extras: The 2-in-1 button is both a power button and a fingerprint sensor for safe and quick unlocking . In addition, as with most other devices, the built-in camera is not centrally above the display. Rather, a pop-up HD webcam was sunk in the upper part of the keyboard between the function keys and can be folded out if necessary. This increases security, because the camera can only transmit an image if the user really wants it.
