Fitnesstracker: So finden Sie den besten

Conclusion from 13. 03. 2020

The Huawei Band 4 proves to be a good fitness tracker in the test. It impresses with its extensive equipment and its very good accuracy when counting the steps. Volume 4 just barely missed a “very good” overall rating. The display quality is not entirely convincing and one or the other function is implemented somewhat uncomfortably. The low price, however, consoles over it. What you should pay attention to when buying fitness trackers, we say in the video.

Huawei Band 4: test values

The Huawei Band 4 is a small and light fitness tracker with a color LCD display for approximately 40 Euro. While the display is easy to read in direct sunlight, the display quality is not entirely convincing. The font is sometimes very small and requires a close look and the weather display is limited to simple symbols and the current temperature. The bracelet is pleasantly light and cuddly. Removing the wristband gives you access to the USB connector located on the back of the tracker. Use this to recharge the battery, which, according to our measurement, reaches the manufacturer's runtime specification of 9 days.

In the step measurement, the cheap band 4 is in good shape. It reaches an accuracy of 98, 7 percent. The most accurate models our best list come on 99, 6 percent accuracy. The very easy-to-use Huawei Band 4 is extensively equipped and offers all important functions and sensors. Pulse measurement, GPS sensor via smartphone and sleep analysis are available as well as distance display, a great weekly / monthly overview and alarm function. However, the latter cannot be set on the device itself and the calorie consumption measures the active calories and not the total calories as specified. It is also not practical that no messages come through when the tracker is put down due to the carrying sensor. And the Alipay function cannot be used in Germany.

Alternative with a long battery life

The battery of the tracker Xiaomi Mi Band 4 lasts over 17 days through what few of our test devices can beat. The colored OLED display is successful and can be read clearly, but also struggles with small letters. The accuracy, however, is also top here. With the equipment you have to do without a GPS sensor. Overall, the Mi Band 4 has a very good overall result at a very attractive price of round 30 Euro .
