Ren Gro Fertilizer Donates to MPICU

Milestone -

Ren Gro Fertilizer, Rick and Doug Renwick families, give to support the most critically-ill patients starting with the Medical Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (MPICU) at the Regina General Hospital. The Hospitals of Regina Foundation's 2009 Annual Campaign is focused on replacing outdated bedside monitors currently in use in Regina's intensive care units (ICUs).

Michele Myrah, Manager of the unit says, " the current monitors can be supported only until 2011 so replacing them is a top priority. It's really about patient safety. The aim is to build a standardized approach throughout the Health Region in all ICUs, so we can deliver the best care possible, more efficiently."
