Avonlea -
The Avonlea Scotiabank is pleased to welcome Mr. Stephen Mills to Avonlea, as he takes over the position of Branch manager. Steve comes to Avonlea from the University and Quance branch of Scotiabank, where he served as the Account Manager of Small Business. Steve was recently married, and as he and his wife, Desiree, have a house in Regina, he will be commuting , but is eager to get involved in the community.
He wants to maintain and grow the excellent relationship that Scotiabank has with its Avonlea and surrounding area customers, and believes in having a visible presence in the community, through both getting to know everybody, as well as through programs such as Scotiabank Hockey, and Scotia Volunteer. Funds from these programs have been given to several non-profit groups including the Heritage Museum, Avonlea Rink, Dance Club, and Hockey teams.
Steve would like to get to know everyone in the community, so stop by and say hello, and get a closer look at the Robert Bateman print that is being donated by the branch as one of the auction items in the upcoming Avonlea Rink Fundraiser, taking place on January 30th.
